The 2024 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is set to begin on August 30th and will run until October 7th, featuring a total of 15 matches, including two semi-finals, a final, and 12 league matches. This annual T20 cricket event, held in the Caribbean, is a domestic tournament that has been hosted every year, with 10 seasons already completed. The Trinbago Knight Riders hold the record as the most successful team, having won four titles.

Founded in 2013, the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) replaced the Caribbean Twenty20 as the top T20 competition in the region. Sponsored by Republic Bank, it features 6 teams in a double round-robin format, followed by playoffs, with the top four teams advancing to the final stage.

In its twelfth season, the CPL 2024 features six teams, organized and managed by Cricket West Indies. Each team is led by seasoned captains and includes a mix of international players. The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 will continue its tradition with a double round-robin format, where all teams face off in league matches before moving on to the season’s conclusion. The top four teams on the points table will advance to the semi-final stage, competing for a spot in the final.

Semi-Final Match Schedule:

1. Eliminator Match (3rd vs. 4th place):
   • Date: October 2, 2024
   • Match: The third and fourth placed teams will battle it out, with the winner advancing to the next round.
2. Qualifier 1 (1st vs. 2nd place):
   • Date: After the eliminator
   • Match: The top two teams on the points table will face each other. The winner of this match will secure a direct spot in the final.
3. Qualifier 2 (Eliminator Winner vs. Qualifier 1 Loser):
   • Date: After Qualifier 1
   • Match: The winner of the Eliminator will face the loser of Qualifier 1. The winner of this match will join the Qualifier 1 winner in the final.
